Practice Pulse
Built by a practising doctor

Practice Pulse started at the reception desk.

Dr Dominic Bass built the workflow for Antioch Medical Centre after chronic recall became the first task to slip in a growing three-branch practice.

“Every feature goes live at Antioch before it is offered to another practice.”

Antioch Medical Centre opened in Bellville South on 1 January 2018 and now operates across Bellville South, Glenwood / Goodwood, and Darling.

One connected practice-data pathway

The existing Antioch e-Script product already calculates a chronic script's runs-out date and separate SMS recall date. A future connector can pass only the file number, patient name, cell, branch, and recall date into Practice Pulse. Diagnoses, medicines, allergies, and clinical notes stay out of the messaging system. Practices on other systems can begin with scheduled exports. The connector remains an integration workstream until authorised API access is available.
